1 day workshop using an occupational therapy approach to guide education professionals in the support of children aged 2-7 years with fine and gross motor skills.

Objectives
  • to understand fine and gross motor skills development
  • to understand the link between sensory processing and motor skills
  • guidelines for identifying children with motor skills difficulties
  • practical activities and strategies to support children with motor skills difficulties
  • to be able to plan individual or group sessions in your school

About the trainer
Alison Cairns, BSc, DipCOT is a member of the BAOT, CYPF and is a specialist member of the Sensory Integration Network of UK and Ireland.  She has been working as a paediatric OT since 1998 and brings a wealth of experience to these informative and practical sessions.
